Abbas has over 6 years of extensive experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), spanning both research academia and industry. With a strong background in leading LCA projects across diverse sectors such as construction, manufacturing, food, energy, and agriculture, he specializes in product carbon footprint, Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), Circular Economy principles, and Health Product Declarations (HPD). Abbas is also involved in developing LCA methodology guidelines and product footprint specifications, helping businesses make data-driven decisions for sustainability. As the Lead of LCA & Circular Economy, Abbas ensures that our projects create maximum impact, driving sustainable transformations across industries. He strongly believes in the crucial role businesses play in the transition to a more sustainable and circular future. Abbas is particularly proud of his work in advancing LCA practices that spark meaningful conversations and lead to real actions toward sustainability. He is a Technical Advisory Board member of ALCAS Australia and an active member of the Life Cycle Association of New Zealand (LCANZ). When not working on sustainability initiatives, Abbas enjoys exploring new strategies for carbon reduction and circularity.
